To bake it it is not necessary to put anything, just try to have some moisture inside the oven, if you have previously washed it, with the water you keep it will be enough.

You can also put water in a container and put it in the oven, so it will not dry out. But the fundamental thing is that the cooking temperature is low, it will be the only way to prevent it from drying out and burning.
