WITCH FINGERS (LOW CARB)
Today is Halloween night and although in Spain this holiday has traditionally had a rather religious character and a cult of the dead, it must be recognized that in recent years things have changed a lot.
Now Halloween is celebrated “the American way”, so to speak, and it is the children, although many adults too, who enjoy this circumstance the most.
In many schools a special party is organized in which the little ones are allowed to dress up in the most terrifying costumes and they are encouraged to bake cookies, muffins and some snacks with a dark and spooky theme.
Many city councils organize events in the streets so that children and their families come dressed up and the historic centers are filled with people, who, with the excuse, are encouraged to consume and enjoy the hospitality and commerce local.
If you want a low-carb and easy Halloween recipe, “witch fingers” are the solution.
Many families organize get-togethers with friends, neighbors, and other relatives on a night like this and prepare a special dinner that lives up to the occasion.
The fun is in dressing up and enjoying a snack together based on recipes that are scary just by looking at them.
Well, this year 2020 is being different for everything, family and friends gatherings must be reduced and parties in schools and towns and cities have been suspended or reduced to a minimum.
But even so, if you have children at home and you want them to continue enjoying their favorite celebrations, do not hesitate to encourage them to dress up and cook with them some terrifying recipe that they will surely love.
Prepare these “witch fingers” for Halloween dinner, the fun will be guaranteed.
These days I have been cooking with my 8-year-old daughter who loves being my assistant in the kitchen and even making her own creations. 🙂
The star recipe has been this one, Witch Fingers, it’s nothing new, I know, but it meets most of our requirements:
- Low in carbohydrates
- It’s very scary
- It’s fun to make and eat!
- It’s very easy.
As I was saying, it’s nothing new, there are hundreds of versions on the internet, but tell me the truth, have you seen any that are so realistic?
If you want to learn how to prepare it, read the recipe below, it won’t take you more than 15 minutes to have some “Witch Fingers” ready to serve at the spookiest dinner of the year. 😉
