Cheese Scones
When the word cheese appears in a sentence, life takes on meaning for me. It may seem like an exaggeration, but I assure you that I love cheese and I can’t live without it.
In this post I’m going to explain how to prepare some delicious and buttery cheese scones, a healthier version of the classic English scones, those tasty little buns that often accompany tea and that you’ve probably heard about on many occasions.
Cheese scones are a classic to accompany tea, try my gluten-free version, you’ll love it.
A few days ago I published the recipe for my tasty gluten-free vanilla scones sugar, the sweeter and healthier version of these buns that I like so much.
Today I want to share with you the recipe for cheese scones, just as easy as the previous one, but with a salty touch that makes them ideal for a snack or to accompany soups, salads, dips, whatever you can think of, they are crazy.
As I explained in my previous post, scones are characterized by their soft texture that melts in the mouth, they are very palatable and that is why they are so popular.
Since they are individual portions, it is easy for you, you can take a couple to the office as a snack, or you can put them in a lunch box for your children to take to school, they allow you to measure yourself, you know the amount that you eat and last for several days, so you can prepare them in advance.
Now stop and think, have you ever been invited to tea? But in an Anglo-Saxon country with English people, I have, and the truth is that when it comes to a formal appointment, the display of small cakes, cookies and buns that accompany said ritual.
When I was lucky enough to check it out, I liked seeing how they were served on pretty trays with different levels. You know which platters I’m talking about, right? They’re beautiful, and each level had a wide variety of scones, cookies, biscuits, mini sandwiches, etc.
In general, small sweet and savory miniatures are usually combined; it’s like a snack to accompany tea. Of all these preparations, scones are my favorites, they are little buns made with butter and wheat flour and various fruits, jams or cheese.
If you have been to England you have surely tried scones, mine are gluten-free and low carb
I always wanted to make my healthy version and finally I did it, after a few attempts, these gluten-free cheese scones and my sugar-free vanilla scones are the best result obtained, I recommend you try them.
Now you will say that you do not like tea, well try them with coffee! In fact, they do not need an accompaniment, because they themselves are tasty and delicious enough to deserve all the attention.
Does what I tell you convince you? Do you feel like try them?

Here is the recipe, go ahead and tell me.

SCONES DE QUESO
Ingredients
- 1 taza harina de almendra
- 2 cda harina de almendra
- 1/4 taza harina de coco (no coco rallado)
- 1/2 tsp sal marina
- 1/2 tsp levadura química (impulsor)
- 30 g mantequilla derretida
- 1 huevo
- 1/4 taza leche entera
- 1/4 cucharadita esencia de vainilla
- arándanos, fresas, moras (opcional)
- 1/2 taza queso rallado (emmental, gouda, maasdam)
Instructions

Gracias. Voy a hacerla ahora mismo.
Gracias x adelantado.
